This is me at one of my very first projects - A Wine and Design night sometime in the spring of 2009. In searching for photos from the early days of my business I realized something. In a time before widespread social media, there are precious few photos of my work - especially those that feature "in progress" updates like today's "stories" or that thing we didn't know about called a "selfie." It was before we started documenting daily moments or thinking about who our audience or followers were. So, please enjoy this awkward  photo of me holding, inexplicably, a pillow on my lap. Was I in danger of sitting on it? Was I adding a "pop of color?"What was even the point? Onward and upward!
